THIS is the dog lucky to be alive after it was thrown from a moving car in Caunsall.
The black terrier was hurled from a red "new shaped" Fiesta on the A449 Kidderminster to Wolverhampton road on Saturday, April 14.
He is being cared for at Dunclent Kennels, Stone, but staff there urgently want to hear from anyone who would like to offer it a home, or else the dog will have to be put down.
Despite the dog being unhurt, a kennels spokeswoman said there was a two-week period before unclaimed pets had to be put to sleep because of the number of abandoned animals coming through its doors.
Kidderminster Police are still appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened shortly after 6pm, to contact them on 01562 820888.
