DISCUSSIONS between councillors and Bewdley residents are being planned to solve ongoing traffic problems around a new housing estate.
The closed section of Habberley Road - necessary for sewage work on a new estate bring built in Wribbenhall - was moved closer to the Jarvis Heath Hotel on Friday following complaints from Queensway residents angry about diverted traffic using their road as a rat-run.
But the barriers were returned to their original position when Meadow Rise residents made a similar complaint about diverted traffic.
A spokesman for Worcestershire County Council said "round-the-table" talks were planned between county councillors, Wyre Forest district councillors and residents in a bid to find a solution to the problem.
