ANTIQUES of all types will be scrutinised and valued at an antiques roadshow at the Lifford Hall in Broadway, which is being held in aid of St Richard's Hospice.
Organisers hope that as many people as possible will bring their treasures along to the event, not only to find out what they are worth, but also to raise money for the Worcester hospice.
The venue itself has already yielded some interesting finds for the event. During recent refurbishments three prints by the Midlands Painter BW Leader were found.
The event will take place on Saturday between 10am and 5pm. The host will be Adrian Mackwell, of Andrew Grant fine art auctioneers of Worcester, and all profits will go towards hospice funds.
Admission is free and valuations will be £1 per item. There will also be a raffle, a hospice shop and refreshments will be available.
For further information about the antiques roadshow call 01386 852211. Any inquiries about St Richard's Hospice should be directed to the appeals office on 01905 26262.
