GARDEN CLUB: The March meeting featured Colin Hill, the local nurseryman, and chairman of Wickhamford Garden Club. His subject was 'My Plants, Your Questions'. The audience was entertained by the display of plants and their history, and produced a variety of questions. The competition 'Vase of Spring Flowers' was won by Kay Haslam, Pam Shaw was second, whilst David Robinson was third. The next meeting will be next Monday at the usual time and venue. The speaker will be J Doidge on 'A Garden from Scratch'. The competition is a primula in a pot.
