Shakespeare enthusiasts and lovers of the theatre are being invited to attend a lecture by Rebecca Brown.
The lecturer in Shakespeare Studies at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Stratford, will be fronting the Trust's open lunchtime event next Wednesday at 1pm.
Her theme: 'Hamlet on the Stratford Stage', explores the fascinating history of this most famous of Shakespeare's plays.
Illustrated with production slides from the RSC archives at the Shakespeare Centre Library, the lecture considers the different perspective from which the play has been approached and the distinctive interpretations of such celebrated actors at Mark Rylance, Michael Pennington and Kenneth Branagh.
An entry fee of £3 or £2.50 for concessions is payable at the door at the Shakespeare Centre in Henley Street, Stratford.
