JEREMY Robinson faces a couple of back-to-back tournaments as he attempts to get his European Tour campaign back on course.

The 35-year-old Evesham golfer flew out to The Algarve on Tuesday and will tee off in the Portuguese Open today.

"If I can putt well then I will be alright," Robinson, whose poor putting led to successive missed cuts last time out, said.

The course is well known to the Vale-based professional but a strong field has been assembled and it won't be easy for Robinson to get among the prize money.

The Evesham player has also gained a place in next week's Novotel Perrier French Open in Lyon but he is still awaiting confirmation of a place at next month's Benson and Hedges International Open at The Belfry.
