WHILE everyone's panicking about foot-and-mouth in cattle, no one is noticing that TB is beginning to get a foothold in the Midlands.
There have been 50 cases at one school!
Don't say that's nothing to worry about when our children haven't been vaccinated for the past two years (at least).
If France can find the money to vaccinate its children, why can't we?
Charity begins at home - not all children in need are abroad.
"They" are saying the TB germ is under control - rubbish.
It's not called galloping consumption for nothing. I know. I saw it at very close quarters as a young girl.
I feel sorry for the farmers, but don't our children come first?
Money spent on animals for vaccination, which are only going to be slaughtered anyway, would be better spent on our children.
After all, we could all lead a longer healthy life as vegetarians, but not without our next generation.
