EVER wondered how majorettes perform those incredible baton twirling manoeuvres that you see on television?.
Well wonder no more, because as of tomorrow (Friday 27), former drum corp majorette Barbara Pritchard will be teaching seven to 17-year-olds the art of baton twirling at arts venue Number 8 in High Street, Pershore.
The eight-week introductory course will start at 3.45pm, and Barbara, who has been twirling for 30 years, says the one-hour classes are great for exercise, confidence and co-ordination.
Twirlers will practice to pop music and there are a limited number of batons available.
The classes cost £2.50 per session. For more information, contact Barbara Pritchard on 01386 556665.
Barbara is also starting Zydeco (correct) dancing lessons for adults on May 14.
