EVESHAM Wheelers held their annual 100 miles in eight hours reliability trial last Sunday.
In steadily worsening conditions the route was through Worcester, Great Witley, Tenbury Wells, Leominster, Ledbury and Tewkesbury. The successful finishers were Paul Stockdale, Brian Lee, Dave Purser, Lee Perry, Steve McGrath, Rudi Ligthert, Brian Newton, Arja Scarsbrook, Adrian Main, Richard Rhodes, Carol Hall, John Webster, Norman Hillier and Ann Mason.
Four members represented the club the previous day in the Welsh Cycling Association Magic Dragon ten-mile Time Trial, where Ligthert recorded 25.18, Scars-brook 25.42 Ken Haynes 24.10 and Brian Newton 22.59.
The club stages an open ten-mile Time Trial for the Gerry Aldrich Trophy at Harvington. First rider off at 2pm. Sunday's club runs are to Long Compton and Tewkes-bury.
