THIRTY children attended the Easter Activities Day held at St James' Church the week before Easter. Origami crosses, Easter cards and Easter gardens were made.

A chilly evening barbecue was held at the Old Bush, Callow End, on Easter Monday in aid of British Legion Funds. The raffle organised by Ann Conaboy, alone raised £30. Thanks are expressed to the landlord of the Old Bush for the use of the garden.

There is no church service this Sunday at St James' Callow End, instead there will be a United Benefice Service of Holy Communion at St Mary's, Guarlford at 10.30am.

Next Sunday, a book fair will be held in Callow End Village Hall, from 10am to 4.30pm.
