THE Good Friday activity morning, held at the vicarage, was very well attended. A great time was had making Easter crafts, singing and cooking.

On Sunday, St Mary's Church had been beautifully decorated for the Easter Service on 'Holy Communion by extension', which was taken by Geoffrey Moore, the benefice lay reader.

Outer Limits, the benefice youth group, met last Saturday and enjoyed their usual activities, plus a game of rounders as the weather was so good that evening. They have planned another youth service for Sunday June 3. Several members of the group accompanied other people from the Benefice to Spring Harvest at Minehead over Easter. On Saturday, May 6 they will be taking part in the Far Forest Centre fundraising day at Stourport High School and running track and hope to provide at least two teams for the gladiatorial games.

On Sunday, April 29 there will be a benefice Family Communion service at St Mary's beginning at 10.30am.

On Wednesday May 2, bingo takes place at the village hall in Longdon, beginning at 7.30pm.

Longdon St Mary's School PFA would like to thank everyone who supported the recent disco, where more than £125 was raised. The next PFA meeting is on Monday (April 30) in the school hall at 7.30pm.
