LUCTONIANS, having early season problems in raising their best team, were then overwhelmed by some accurate pace bowling from Nomads' Ian Jinks.
WORCESTER NOMADS v LUCTONIANS
Jinks finished with five wickets for 12 runs; leaving Nomads victorious by 134 runs in their first ever Worcestershire County League Division One fixture after gaining promotion last season.
On Sunday, the friendly match with Stourbridge Social had to be cancelled because of the persistent drizzle which lasted through the morning and much of the day.
However there are still another 99 home fixtures to come in yet so another busy season is expected at Bransford.
