MALVERN Town first team were without a game last Saturday, but the Reserves gained a 3-2 win in the Banks's Division One (South) at home to Hinton.
Two goals from Matt Upton and one from Robbie Leonard saw Town cruise to a three goal lead after just 60 minutes. But a penalty out of the blue in the 66th minute and a shot from the edge of the box, snatching a second for the visitors in the 74th minute, saw Town having hang on for a deserved win.
The Town U18 side were unable to repeat the heroics of their Herefordshire Youth Cup quarter final victory over Newport County, when they went down 3-1 at Pegasus.
