THE trials and tribulations of trying to entertain the boss while in the grips of a fanatic double glazing salesman form the basis of a new play by Cheapskate Theatre Company.

The locally-based company are staging Reflections in Ledbury, Malvern and Worcester in the coming weeks, the play being dubbed a story of life, love, ambition - and double glazing.

The play is the work of Terry Wiggett, who also plays double glazing salesman Lionel, and director Dave Withey. It tells the story of Tim and Vanessa, hoping to impress boss Victor and his much younger wife Tracey at a dinner party - until Lionel arrives.

The play opens at the Market Theatre, Ledbury, on Saturday, May 12 and can also be seen at the Christopher Whitehead School, Worcester, on Saturday, May 19 and Dyson Perrins CE High School, Malvern, on Saturday, June 2.

Tickets are £3, concessions available, from 01684 563322. Tickets are also being sold by the 2nd Malvern Scout Group for the Malvern performance, the group taking a share of the proceeds, with a similar arrangement for Venture Scouts in Worcester.
