MALVERN Gazette & Ledbury Reporter advertising sales executive Tony Cary scored a maximum 12 consecutive strikes during a bowling game at Worcester Tenpin Bowling club in Bromyard Road last week.
Tony, aged 34, of Leigh , scored the maximum 300 game in a Twilight League fixture for his own team Cockney Rebels, only the second time it has ever been done in the history of the bowling club.
Tony said: "I got to about eight or nine and other bowlers started taking an interest and then the whole place stopped bowling to come and watch.
"It was quite a buzz when the final pins fell."
Tony plays in the Midland Scratch League for Worcester and has previously played for Middlesex U24s and an England representative side that played in Holland.
