TESCO bosses in Warndon are chopping down eight-foot bushes in a bid to cut vandalism.
A gazebo where gangs of youngsters gather could also be pulled down or removed.
Worcester MP Mike Foster met with store chiefs and beat manager PC John McManus to investigate ways of solving complaints about vandalism and intimidation.
"There's a group of young people hanging around this gazebo, causing a nuisance and intimidating people," he said.
"There is a valid argument about lack of facilities and boredom but there is also, arguably, a case that these people, though not proven, are involved in vandalism and nuisance up there.
"What Tesco is doing is cutting down the shrubbery completely so people can see what is going on. "At the moment you can't see what is round the corner because of the height of the shrubbery.
"The future of the gazebo is also on the line because it's a focus point for people hanging around, particularly when it is raining.
"There is an option to remove it completely, and that's something for the residents to discuss."
