IN reply to Colin Jones (You Say, April 20) even within the normal New Labour spin on words, I have never written to this paper as a representative of the Association of Independents - his words.
I have criticised the Thatcher years over the demise of our manufacturing, now being continued by Blair, and John Major for being weak and ineffective, which is how I see current MAFF Minister Nick Brown.
I have also praised Tony Blair over his promises for our elderly. But sorry, Colin, in a democracy, when they are wrong, they are wrong.
I regularly reply to local councillors who I know are spinning the facts. But I always have proof of content when stating facts.
BRIAN HUNT,
Worcester.
