POLICE have warned shed owners to be vigilant after a spate of raids in Wyre Forest.
Kidderminster Police revealed there have been 32 break-ins in the last eight weeks.
In most cases padlocks have been removed to gain entry.
Spokeswoman Caroline Schubert said: "We are asking people to be aware of the risk to items stored in garden sheds and garages and to take precautions to protect valuable property.
"Give consideration to high value items such as bikes and lawn mowers and have them marked with your postcard.
"If there is a place in the house where there is room for storage, it may be safer to keep them there.
"Otherwise you can make it harder for thieves to take them by padlocking them to a solid fixture in the shed."
