A GUIDE for tourism companies hard-hit by foot-and-mouth is up and running on the internet.
Culture secretary Chris Smith said the guide outlined help available from the Rural Taskforce, banks and social security.
"Knowing what help is available and how to get it is crucial," he said.
"That is why we are making it as simple as possible by drawing together a short guide which will appear for the first time today."
Businesses can find out if they are eligible for hardship relief of up to 100 per pent on rates bills, loans of up to £250,000 or funding from regional development agencies.
The fact sheet can be accessed on the Department for Culture, Media and Sport website www.culture.gov.uk under Tourism Index, followed by News.
