I WAS reading the Advertiser (April 18) and I noticed S Badger complained about the lack of road signs from Crabbs Cross to Foxlydiate.
My daughter, aged six, was nearly knocked down one afternoon two weeks ago when a driver failed to stop on a red light at the pedestrian crossing outside Harry Taylor First School.
I have been in touch with the police and the Highways Department because there are no school signs or speed restriction warnings at either side of Harry Taylor First School.
It is on a main road! There is also a new nursery opening opposite the school.
This is an accident waiting to happen.
