TWO huge 50ft mobile towers are to be put up in Wythall if a planning application goes ahead.
Both mobile masts have been planned on Packhorse Lane for telecommunication giants British Telecom and Dolphin Communications.
Last year, residents had rejected two other mobile masts after a mass protest and petition.
However, this time the plans are in an unpopulated area of Wythall so complaints about the site could be reduced.
Councillor Jill Dyer said: "I have objected about the plans to put up both of the masts because I'm still not convinced they are safe, they are detrimental to the openness of the green belt."
