BUSINESSES around Inkberrow suffering at the hands of the foot and mouth epidemic may be eligible for business rate relief.
But Wychavon District Council is advising businesses such as hotels, pubs, bed and breakfasts to act now or risk missing out.
Farms are not eligible for the relief because they do not pay business rates but associated businesses like nurseries and riding stables are.
Council senior revenues officer Jo Roberson said: "When making an application it is vital that you provide as much information as possible to show how foot and mouth has affected your business and how the downturn in business has affected the local community."
