CATSHILL U8s 5 Crusaders U8s 1. A well fought first half by both teams saw Catshill take the lead with goals from Sam Brown and James Lund. Crusaders pulled a goal back during the second half but Catshill proved too strong and a penalty by Brown and a superbly taken shot by Sam Wright secured a well deserved win. Joint MoM were Sam Brown and Sam Wright.
Hanbury U13s 3 Feckenham U13s 2. What a local derby, with Ryan Giles comming off the bench to score a fine hat-trick for Hanbury to clinch the game. Joint MoM were Ryan Giles and Scot McCartney.
Hobs Moat Falcons U12s 1 Hanbury U12s 2. Hanbury could have won this game with ease but Hobs Moat battled well. Goals from Mark Hayward and Tom Stockwell in the second half sealed the championship for Hanbury. A fine performance from Jon Hunt in midfield earned him the MoM award.
Bromsgrove Corinthians U11s 2 Smithswood U11s 5. Jon Frost's goal gave the Corinthians the drive to take the game to the division leaders, who equalised midway through the first half. Sam Partridge then scored to give the Corries the lead at the break. The second half saw Smithswood -- who are undefeated -- increase the pressure and
strike four times to secure victory. A truly magnificent performance given by every member of the Bromsgrove team, despite a disappointing result.
Chipping Campden U14s Droitwich Spa Eagles U14s. Two games in four days saw Eagles take four points, in a 2-2 draw on Wednesday night, with two goals from MoM Jamie Stallwood, and a 3-2 win at Chipping on Sunday. Goals on Sunday came from Paul Brown, Adam Caines and MoM Mark Colley.
Hanbury U8s 1 Northfield U8s 1. Hanbury showed great character and determination in this skillful and exciting game. Northfield took the lead in the first half despite Hanbury's fine attacking play. Northfield came out for the second half in a positive manner but Aiden Russell and Nathan Day made it impossible for them to score again. Hanbury worked tirelessly in attack. A magnificent goal was scored when Dan Richards released MoM Lewis Smith, who in turn found Grant Moss, who whipped in a cross for Keiron Waldron to head in. James Chaffe continued to link defence and attack but the second goal just could not be found.
Catshill U8s 2 TR2000 U8s 3. Catshill never really got going in the first half and went 2-0 down before MoM James Lund pulled it back to 2-1. After the break Catshill came out a more determined side and although TR2000 got a third goal , Catshill battled on and made it 3-0 with a goal from Sam Wright. Catshill were unlucky to get nothing out of the game.
Alcester U8s 2 Bromsgrove Town Boys U8s 5. Whilst the record will show that two goals by James Brighton, and one each for Connor Wilson, MoM Ross McGuinness and Daniel Jones, won this match convincingly for Bromsgrove, it was the superb build-up play which made the difference. Town now have a well earned break from matches, but they have already started preparations for next season and are still on the lookout for an extra striker to bolster their squad. Boldmere Sports U16s 4 Cofton Falcons U16s 1. An entertaining game in which Boldmere took a 3-0 half-time lead. Falcons replied with an early goal in the second half through Daniel Grundy but Boldmere killed off Falcons with another goal.
Coleshill Town U9s 5 Callowbrook Swifts U9s 1. Surprisingly, this was Swifts best first half performance of the season. They took the lead after only two minutes thanks to a clever flick from top scorer Dan Phillips. Jack Wilson controlled the midfield and Ben Heath went past opponents with ease as the visitors went close time and again. In the second period it was a different story, Coleshill taking a 3-1 lead within ten minutes of the turnaround. Some hesitant defending saw the visitors go to pieces after a promising start. MoM was shared between Grant Gardner and Jack Wilson.
Callowbrook Swifts U10s B 1 Hampton Sports U10 1. An outstanding performance by Swifts against strong opposition in an exciting game. The goal scorer was Luke Trueman. MoM was Daniel Brindley.
Callowbrook Swifts U10s A 7 Catshill Juniors U10s 3. An excellent team performance meant Swifts were always on top in this game against their local rivals. Catshill opened the scoring against the run of play but four goals from MoM Aaron Phillips put Swifts 4-1 up at half time. Other Swifts' scorers were Jamie Hales (two), and one from skipper Stuart Cooke.
Callowbrook Swifts U11s 5 Headless Cross U11s 0. This win puts Callowbrook up in to sixth slot. Steve Harper was amongst the scorers.
Callowbrook Swifts U12s 8 Maypole U12s 3. This table topper was much closer than the scoreline suggests. Adam Neason put Swifts ahead but soon the visitors were 2-1 ahead. Martin Byefield equalised by half time. In a nail biting second half, Josh Taylor-Gates and Luke Bachelor scored but Maypole kept battling and pulled it back to 4-3, only for club stalwart and substitute Tom Heath to seal the win when he followed up a rebound to make it 5-3. With Maypole's spirits finally broken, the home side added three more in quick succession. They now need just one point from their remaining two games to become league champions for the second season running.
Callowbrook Swifts U13s 2 Severn Trent U13s 0.
Droitwich Spa U15s 5 Newtown Sports U15s 0. Spa convincingly beat their rivals to reach the final of the League Cup. Newtown started better but never really created a clear chance. Spa opened the scoring on 20 minutes through J Whatley. Spa were now well on top and added more goals by N Campbell and R Greenfield before half time. Spa soon had Newtown pegged back in the second half and two more quick goals by M Hughes and R Greenfield sealed their victory and kept their dream of a league and cup double alive. Spa's MoM was Steve Williams. The final is on Sunday May 6 at Malvern Town's Ground, KO 2.30pm.
Worcester St Johns U15s 1 Droitwich Spa U15s 14. Spa remained top of the league with this emphatic victory. Goals from MoM R Greenfield (four), M Hughes (three), J Whatley (two), C White (two) and A Bourne sealed their victory. A good all-round team performance.
Rubery Juniors U11s 2 (Lee Rodway, Robbie Johnson) Catshill Juniors U11s 2.
Rubery Juniors U13s 1 Sedgemere Sports 0. A deserved victory for Rubery who secured three valuable points in their fight for Premier Division status. Shane Goodwin's first half goal was reward for a battling team performance.

Rubery Juniors U15s 6 Solihull Colts U13s 0.Rubery took the lead after only 28 seconds when Stephen Adams sent an unstoppable shot past the Solihull goalkeeper. Allan Price was in top form, laying on three goals for Jonathan McCabe and scoring one himself before half time. David MacGillivray made a superb penalty save to deny Solihull before Carl Martin rose at the far post to head home a Stephen Adams corner.
Arden Forest 1 Rubery Juniors U16s 2 (Ben Blaber, Gary Wood). Rubery remain second in the Premier League thanks to this victory. They are now only one victory away from the prize of league champions.
