AUSTIN Sports and Social Club FC's under-12s were the perfect hosts when they entertained a touring side from South Wales.
Richard Eades organised the tour for Austin, which saw Tenby AFC under-12s come to Longbridge to play a few friendlies over Easter.
The Welsh youngsters had won their own league back home and proved to be no pushovers.
Managed and coached by Steve Briers, they came well prepared and nearly clean sweeped all that came before them.
The results were as follows: Hunt End B 1 Tenby 5, Ulverly Hawks 2 Tenby 6, Droitwich Spa District under-11s 2 Tenby 8, Austin Sports 7 Tenby 3.
Austin were slow to start in their game against Tenby, having played no matches for two weeks in Division One of the Central Warwickshire League due to bad weather. The score was 2-2 at one stage but Austin settled and came out worthy winners.
Scorers for Austin were man of the match James Coyne (three), Aaron Daniels, Luke Valente and Adam Stewart (two).
Austin's under-12s boss Paul Valente, from Rubery, looked after the visitors during their stay.
