REDDITCH were frustrated by a last minute hailstorm at Shifnal on Saturday.
With the pitch playable but damp as the visitors arrived, the heavens opened and the match was off without a ball bowled.
But the club has been boosted by the confirmation of Aussie all rounder Jason Morgan's availability.
Morgan will miss the opening home game against Shrewsbury on Saturday (1pm start) but is available the following week.
Opening bat Chris Gibson, missing on Saturday through work commitments, returns on Saturday and wicketkeeper Jeff Russell is also available.
The Bromsgrove Road side managed to fit in a friendly against Bloxwich on Sunday but skipper Guy Muspratt says anything would be welcome from the Shrewsbury match.
"They are Shropshire League champions and we are Worcestershire champions so it should be interesting," said the captain.
"But at this stage of the season, with the weather as it is, it is difficult to predict anything.
"We just want to get matches in and any result is good."
