SUPERBIKES star Andy Tinsley is beset by problems ahead of the Superstocks meeting at Snetterton at the weekend.
After numerous problems with the settings on his new GSXR 1000 Suzuki, Tinsley has ordered a new suspension unit from Sweden.
The Astwood Bank rider wants to switch to the same unit as the other Suzukis but a delay in delivering the system means he will have no time for practice.
The unit was supposed to be delivered on Monday but Tinsley was not expecting it until today (Wednesday) leaving him little preparation time as he chases his first top ten finish of the season.
"The official Suzuki team have helped us by supplying the settings so hopefully we will know what to expect from the new suspension," said Tinsley.
"I've always ridden a Honda before and the last thing I expected was for this bike to be difficult to handle."
Tinsley paid tribute to sponsor Digby Knott of Knotts Motorcycles after continuing to fund the cash-strapped team's efforts this year.
"We said we would only do one race unless we found a major backer," added Tinsley.
"But now we are on to our third meeting and expect to compete at Oulton Park the following weekend because Knotts have supported us."
