RAPID changes are afoot at a Lodge Park school due to re-open in September following the Redditch review.
Oak Hill First School, formed from the merger of Ipsley and Arrowcrest first schools, has already chosen its new uniform and badge and work on a £1 million performing arts area and other improvements are well under way.
An extension to the school hall and stage is also taking shape.
Headteacher Cherrill Illingworth said: "It's exciting to see the new school beginning to take shape after two years of planning.
"Arrangements are now being made to ensure prospective parents and pupils have access to the site and an opportunity to meet the staff prior to opening."
The school will open on the Arrowcrest site in Wirehill Drive.
