THE English language is rich in words, but I find it difficult if not impossible to put adequately my disgust at the chief constable's refusal to give cover so the youth movements of Bromsgrove could have their annual St George's Day parade.
We are all quick to condemn yobbish behaviour of youths. What sort of message does this send to the decent youngsters of our town?
If the chief constable cannot or will not do his duty, then in God's name go, and let's get one who can. Remember, excuses never got the job done.
