ON Sunday last, the nearest to St George's Day, the Fourth County of Worcestershire Cadets regiment celebrated the first anniversary of its formation with a church parade at Redditch Parish Church.
More than 120 officers and cadets attended a special service conducted by the Vicar of Redditch, Rev JC Williams.
After the service, the regiment was drawn up in the Market Place and was inspected by Colonel CG Elkington.
The inspection was followed by a march past for Col CG Elkington, who took the salute.
The Fourth County of Worcestershire Cadets was founded on St George's Day last year and was then known as the Fourth Cadet Battalion.
