A GOVERNMENT grant of £81,000 has been given to Bromsgrove to cut down drug use and crime.
It will be used over the next three years to target drug dealers and the crimes which fund addictions such as burglary, theft and robbery.
Funding was allocated according to the size of the drug problem in each area, with Bromsgrove receiving the third largest portion in the county.
Local agencies, including police and Bromsgrove District Council, will be able to decide how best to spend the cash to tackle the root of the drug problem.
