ORGANISERS of one of the country's biggest dog shows have extended the deadline for entries.
The Three Counties Championship Dog Show, to be staged at the Three Counties Showground, is going ahead as planned from Monday, June 11 and Thursday, June 14.
It usually runs alongside the Three Counties Show but that has been postponed.
Organisers say that many dog owners have assumed that the dog show has also been affected.
"This event always attracts a good entry, and last year we welcomed more than 8,000 dogs to Malvern, but sadly there's been a noticeable fall in entries," said Anne Bathurst, dog show secretary.
The deadline for entries has been extended to Tuesday, May 8 to give people a chance to submit their entries.
