A HOLLYWOOD woman whose dogs won at Crufts last year has a chance of a repeat performance thanks to the postponement of the show due to the foot and mouth crisis.
Mother-of-two Sue Boone has been showing her Afghan hounds for seven years and last year her dream came true when two of her seven dogs won classes at the prestigious competition.
But this year's entry was ruled out when she had to undergo surgery in January.
Mrs Boone, 45, said: "I had a major operation and I wouldn't have been able to show the dogs at Crufts if it had not been postponed from March to the end of May."
The dogs have also helped Mrs Boone on the road to recovery as she has had to regain her strength to walk all seven of them for an hour every day.
Mrs Boone, who had to have four months off work, said: "The dogs have given me the strength to get better and something to aim for."
Two-year-old dog Palamedees Mahler Among Davidaniel, known as Jacob, and three-year-old bitch Krishan Lochangel At Davidaniel, known as Kahrah, will be strutting their stuff at Crufts.
