ANDY Parker took 5-10 for British Sugar but was still on the losing team in the first match of the Stainweld Cricket Wednesday League season.
Parker's side were beaten by 10 runs by Stagborough whose bowler Kevin Haycock took 5-6.
Result: Stagborough 74, British Sugar 64.

There were some close Sunday Premier Division matches.
Hard-Done-Boys beat Kidderminster Hospital by one wicket and the same result was recorded by Worths.
Their hero was Matt Roberts who claimed 5-13 against British Sugar.
The only Division A match saw Moat Farm gain a seven-wicket victory over Chainwire Cavaliers.
Several matches were not played as the pitches were unfit.
