STOURPORT county councillor and leader of the Labour group on Worcestershire County Council, Carol Warren, should consider what effect she and others have had on the welfare of her constituents.
Does she really believe that the downgrading of Kidderminster Hospital is an improvement?
Does she really believe that she knows better than the 100,000 residents of Wyre Forest?
Health Concern was formed to combat such political arrogance.
Ambulatory care is just another name for a day hospital, a system which has operated alongside in-patient treatment at Kidderminster for many years.
Wyre Forest residents know that Kidderminster Hospital, once the most efficient in the county, has ceased to exist as a district general hospital, and no amount of spin can conceal this fact.
