NIGEL Knowles was a picture of style and sophistication as he temporarily transformed himself into king of the catwalk for good causes.
The Kidderminster mayor was among the models showing off clothes from Kidderminster's Littlewoods store in a special event at the town hall on Friday.
It was organised by representatives of his three chosen charities - Headway Wyre Forest, Homestart Wyre Forest and Age Concern.
Celebrity chef Rustie Lee was a surprise guest while DJ Steve Grant was compere for the evening.
Headway's Annette Price said a total on £1,600 had been raised for the three charities with advance ticket sales and donations on the night after 400 people turned up to see Mr Knowles strut his stuff in the "beach" section.
Other models included his wife Jenny and Kidderminster's Sarah Kemp, who received therapy from Headway while recovering from a brain injury sustained in a fall from a horse.
