YOUNGSTERS are hoping they can save pennies and the pounds will look after themselves in a charity fund-raising project.
Thousands of pennies will be laid on the netball court at Stourport High School tomorrow and Saturday to raise vital funds for the Far Forest Centre.
The day, organised by the Church of England's Diocese of Worcester, is part of a series of events to help add to the £58,000 which has already been raised towards the £100,000 needed to renovate the centre.
Saturday's fun day in aid of the centre for youth and school groups, will see a range of activities.
There will be gladiatorial team games which include a side from Kidderminster's St Mary's Church, a chariot race, tug of war, bouncy castle and laser combat zone.
