NEW hi-tech signs to help put the brakes on speeding motorists have been installed on Fish Hill near Broadway.
The signs - one powered by solar power and the other by battery - have been erected on the A44 Fish Hill by Worcestershire County Council to tell drivers they are driving too fast.
As speeding drivers approach, the sign is triggered to display the messages 'too fast' and 'slow down' alternatively. The action follows accident studies over the last five years, which revealed 23 injury accidents, two deaths and 32 casualties.
County accident studies manager Chris Barski said: "We need to take these measures to encourage drivers to reduce their speed."
