IN response to his letter published on April 23, let me assure young George Cowley that when I recently used the term "twits", no one could have been farther from my mind than he.
In my vocabulary, the term "twit" applies to someone with an air of superiority, who may or may not have good academic qualifications, but is totally out of touch with the practical reality of a situation. Satisfied, George?
