WORCESTER Gilbert and Sullivan Society will be presenting an evening of fun, song and dance at the Conquest Theatre in Bromyard next week.

The first half of the evening will include performances of favourite choruses from The Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado and Gondoliers.

There will also be a rare performance of The Savoy Dancers by the well-known Pat Stewart Dancers.

The second half will feature a first ever performance of The Ultimate Secret, a comic opera based on many Gilbert and Sullivan favourites, which tells the story of Dick Deadeye's search for the secret which has been stolen by wicked Poo, twin brother of the goody Nanki.

The society has been special permission by Melendez productions to perform this version of their cartoon film.

The show, which will be showing on Thursday (May 10), Friday (11) and Saturday, May 12, will be fully staged and costumed and the society promises an evening of good music, fun and laughter.

Tickets are £6, with £1 concessions on Thursday and Friday, and are available from the Conquest Theatre box office on 01885 488575.
