HOUSE of Mirth (PG) is showing at Malvern Cinema for one night only on Wednesday, May 9, at 7.45pm.
An adaptation of Edith Wharton's novel set in New York society, it stars Gillian Anderson, Eric Stolz and Laura Linney.
Anderson, most famous for appearing as agent Scully in The X-Files, plays Lily, a socialite on the lookout for the perfect husband, whose life is ruined when she's accused of having an affair with a married man.
For the rest of the week, it's Bridget Jones's Diary (15), starring Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant and Colin Firth.
It is showing daily (except Wednesday) at 7.30pm, with 3pm matinees on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.
