A NEW sponsor has come forward to back Evesham in Bloom, organised by the Vale of Evesham Tourism Association.

Evesham company Tarry's has previously sponsored the annual event, but the company has closed.

Now, treasurer Clive Allen told the association executive, that Woolworths in Evesham are to provide the cash.

Mr Allen said: "I am very pleased that we have got a major multiple as main sponsor of VETA's Evesham in Bloom, and we very much appreciate all that Tarry's has done for us in the past."
