A NEW sponsor has come forward to sponsor the Malvern & District Official BAPTO Pool League for the forthcoming season in the shape of J W Automatics of Hereford and also a local food outlet.
This is great news as it will help to re-launch the Malvern (West Worcestershire) County Pool side once again in to the South Western BAPTO run English Pool Counties Federation. The Malvern area has been recognised by BAPTO for over three years and now through Sport England as the official league in the area. The new season will commence the first Sunday in September, September 2 at all recognised venues. A new entry system will apply.
The BAPTO Pool Singles League on Tuesday nights at Sharks Pool Club now has new entry forms and will be available from Monday, May 7. Two leagues will run again and the leagues are well sponsored. Any queries telephone (01684) 572945.
