THE cream of snooker's up-and-coming talent will be on view at Pockets Snooker Club in Kidderminster at the weekend.
The English Open and English Amateur competitions both hold their finals as well as the U-21, U-18 and U-14 events.
Manager Alan Atkinson was delighted Pockets was chosen as a venue by the English Association for Snooker and Billiards on its visit to the Midlands.
Atkinson said: "They choose a different region each year and we are proud to have been chosen now.
"The tables have always been kept immaculately here and we are going to do our best to make sure everything is run professionally on both days."
Spectators are welcome to the Church Street venue for free to see a glimpse of the sport's future with Saturday's opening ceremony from 10.15am.
On Saturday, two professionals from the UK tour do battle in the best-of-15-frames English Open final from 10.30am.
Mansfield's Lee Spick, 21, takes on London's Kurt Maflin, 17, with the match concluding at 7pm.
At 2.30pm, Leicester's Tom Ford - the world's youngest professional at 17 - plays stunning 11-year-old prospect Judd Trump, of Bristol, in the U-18s final over nine frames.
Sunday sees the English Amateur final at 10.30am, concluding at 7.30pm over the best of 15 frames.
World U-21 champion Luke Fisher, a Nottinghamshire 18-year-old, does battle with North Finchley's Sunit Vaswani, 20, for a £1,000 prize.
The U-21s final over 15 frames, with the finalists still to be announced, is from 10.30am, concluding at 7.30pm, and the U-14s clash is at 2.30pm.
That match is between Ben Woollaston, of Leicester, and Alex Davies, of Clacton, over seven frames.
Atkinson added: "Everyone is welcome here at the weekend - you don't have to be members.
"Kurt Maflin has had a 147 break and some of these players would not disgrace themselves on the main tour. Judd Trump is a hell of a talent."
Bosses at the club are hoping people will still have the snooker bug after the World Championships.
Ronnie O'Sullivan clinched the competition on Monday with victory over Scot John Higgins in Sheffield's daunting Crucible arena.
