A MAN suffered serious injuries after he was thrown from his motorbike in a road accident.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital following the crash on the A38 at the turning to Ripple and Uckinghall, around three miles from Upton-upon-Severn.
The red Suzuki motorbike was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi Shogun four-wheel drive vehicle just before 9am yesterday.
The Shogun was towing a diesel-bowser, which spilled out on to the road.
The motorbike had serious damage to its front while the four-wheel drive had damage to its side.
The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man from the Tewkesbury area who has not been named, suffered severe leg and arm fractures and head injuries in the collision.
He was described as being in a poorly condition this morning.
