NOW the General Election date has been set, I wonder whether the deafening silence from the politicians I wrote to recently concerning fairer educational funding for Worcestershire will continue.
I await with interest to see how much these politicians feel pupils in Worcestershire are really worth.
Again I issue the challenge - come see how we manage, how our children are educationally discriminated against because of where we live.
In my role as parent governor representative for Worcestershire, I have had the oportunity to see how disadvantaged our children really are when I have visited other local educational authorities.
For example, if Ipsley Middle School was averagely funded, the school would receive an extra £197,000 a year, enabling it to have seven extra teachers and 26 new computers.
I again would like to thank parents and all those concerned in school governance who have offered their support to this campagin.
Also, a big thank you to all the headteachers I spoke to last week and asked whether they would be able to accommodate a visiting politician at short notice.
