TRIBUTES have been paid to a popular Redditch man who died on Sunday, May 6.
Roger Banner, from Southcrest, manager of Jazz clothing in Redditch for 18 years, leaves a wife, Carol, son Ashley and daughter Davina.
Mr Banner, who was 47, joined Heaphys after school and stayed in the men's clothing business for more than 31 years.
He managed Topstyle Menswear in Church Green East for more than 10 years. He then joined David Copperfield on Unicorn Hill before moving over to Blue Note, now known as Jazz clothing in 1983.
Mr Banner, who was a life-long Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, was well known for his wit and good humour.
He was also club secretary at Studley Road Social Club for many years.
Jazz director Chris Brookes said: "Staff and customers are devastated by the loss. We loved him dearly."
