WYTHALL'S resident grass cutter has refused to mow in parts of the village because of the amount of dog mess.
Peter Ball, manager of Swiftwell, the company contracted by Wythall Parish Council to cut grass around the village, says he will continue his protest until something is done.
Mr Ball said the problem had been there for six years since he started in the village.
"It's terrible, the footpaths around most parts of Wythall are full with dog mess, which causes major problems for me."
"I have already lost one worker to this because it actually makes you feel physically sick," said Mr Ball.
"We need one or two prosecutions in Wythall so that people know what they will get if they don't stop," he added.
Now Wythall Parish Council has written to Bromsgrove Council saying it wants the council to crack down on the culprits.
Bromsgrove Council put forward plans to rid persistent foulers in April by fining them up to £1,000 but so far the message has not got through.
David Williams, head of environmental health, said: "We will no longer tolerate such irresponsible behaviour and will prosecute without hesitation.
"We are now ready to launch our spring offensive within the next few weeks."
