A BATTLING Spa OAP who refuses to pay her business rates has appeared in court again.
Sprightly Nellie Copson, of High Street, was hauled before Droitwich Magistrates' Court on Monday afternoon.
The 82-year-old arrived with her suitcase, ready to be jailed for non-payment of £882 in business rates on her empty shop.
But magistrates adjourned the case to allow time for Miss Copson to ask the valuation office to review her property to establish if it is worthy of occupation as a shop.
She is due back in court on July 30.
