SECURITY conscious residents are invited to attend a crime prevention awareness day this Saturday.
Droitwich Spa Neighbourhood Watch members and town police will be based in Salters' Shopping Centre, in St Andrew's Square, from 10am.
Folk can discuss security concerns with experts and buy shed and outbuilding alarms at reduced prices.
Kits will be on sale, enabling householders to mark belongings with their name and postcode.
The coding is invisible to the naked eye but shows up under ultra violet light.
Special plant varieties will be on sale which help secure garden boundaries.
Town Neighbourhood Watch members plan to provide information for people who want to improve safety in their community and are considering setting up a watch.
Free goodies for children will include pens, balloons and bookmarks.
A Neighbourhood Watch spokesman said: "We want to catch the shopping trade and raise awareness of property protection."
