WORCESTER oarsman Matthew Beechey has received another Great Britain call-up.
The 24-year-old will be rowing in the lightweight coxless fours and pairs in the World Cup series, to be held in Seville, Vienna and Munich over the next two months.
He raced in the fours in the first of the series at Princeton in the United States last month.
Beechey is also rowing in the pairs with Steve Lee in this weekend's International Regatta in Essen, Germany.
The Worcester Rowing Club member won a silver medal in the lightweight eights at last year's World Championships, and hopes the World Cup races will boost his chances of selection for this year's event, to be held at Lucerne, Switzerland in August.
He works as a fitness instructor at University College Worcester.
